Our community

Our community is made up of small coffee growers with a long history of coffee as their only livelihood. This is a community pulled together by coffee, where women and men take pride in their expertise of coffee production. Over the years many things haven’t changed in our community; oxen and horses remain the most reliable and environmentally friendly methods of transportation and coffee is still a significant source of economic stability. The future of the new generation is rooted in the sustainable development of this community. Thus we support the Canadian charitable organization, Los Frutos Del Café, in their environmental and educational projects in these communities.
